Letter from South Africa: BBC World Service
As a doctor working in Southern Africa I rely on the World Service for news and would be really at a loss if it was ever stopped. It is my main source of news and I also keep up with developments in science and medicine through it's many varied and interesting programmes. I owe my knowledge of the English language to the English by Radio courses I listened to in the 1980s.
The BBC World Service is a great source for good around the world. It is one of England's best exports. Thank you Bishop Sentamu for defending it. Thank you ICN for keeping us informed also.
Yours sincerely
Dr Ceda B Kaggwa
