The Royal College of Music will be performing Vivaldi's Four Seasons, in a special benefit concert in aid of The Upper Room, as part of Homelessness Sunday and Poverty Action Week. The concert takes place at Holy Innocents Church, Paddenswicks, Hammersmith, on Friday, 4 February, at 7.30pm. There will be a retiring collection.

The Upper Room is a registered charity in west London started in 1992, that offers a broad range of services for the homeless, migrant workers and people with addictions. It serves more than 20,000 meals a year.

There are several Upper Room projects at the moment, focused on supporting and enabling people to regain their confidence and health, improve their employability and life skills, as well as tackling loneliness and social isolation. The Upper Room hosts a Film Club. It also runs driving school for ex-offenders and supports both offenders and ex-offenders to turn their lives around through a range of initiatives, including volunteering within the community.
