London: meeting to support prisoners claiming innocence

While most of the time courts in the UK deal justly with offenders, they don't always get it right, as several high profile miscarriage of just cases in the last few years have proven.

A meeting to examine and discuss the hurdles facing prisoners who do maintain their innocence will take place at St Mellitus church hall, Tollington Park, north London, on Sunday, 7 November from 3-5.30pm.

Speakers will be: Dr Michael Naughton from Bristol University, Founder and Director of Innocence Network UK and Gabe Tan, Head of Case Work Innocence Network, UK. The event is being chaired by Dr Kimmett Edgar, head of research at the Prison Reform Trust

There will be time for questions. Refreshments provided. No advance tickets needed. Collection for expenses.
