Because we are young - YCW at Westminster Cathedral
'Because we are young', theYCW national event takes place on Saturday 1 May, the Feast of Saint Joseph the Worker, in London. Aimed especially for young adults (aged 16-30) and their friends, it is also for Chaplains, adult companions, and all the supporters and friends of YCW.
The day begins with a 2pm Mass at Westminster Cathedral, London, with Archbishop Vincent Nichols to celebrate and give thanks for young adult's contribution to society and the Church. After the Mass there will be a rally outside the Cathedral, standing up for the dignity of all young people.
The day will end with a party at St Joseph's Hendon, NW4 4TY. Everyone is welcome. There is limited transport available. The evening includes food, music and entertainment from chart topping Hip-Hop star ENVY, Toby Rothwell from Tape, Indecisive, Tom Bonard from Crossbeam, RISE Productions, and Boca Nova.
