Countdown to Hope for the Holy Land & programme


Brightly-coloured kites, made by children from refugee camps in the Holy Land will be flying at Holy Apostles Hall in Pimlico, Central London, at Hope for the Holy Land this weekend.

The final preparations for the weekend festival are underway now. More than 25 organizations will be represented, all with stands and stalls - all of which are supporting Christians in the land where Jesus walked.

There will be a performance by singer Reem Kelani, and a cafe, 12 speakers and presentations, and two films will be shown.

Speakers' topics include - Rev Duncan Macpherson on: 'Zionism, Anti-Semitism & the Bible'. Richard Jones from the charity Biblelands on: 'The Forgotten Faithful - Issues Facing the Arab Church'; Sister Jo Goggin on 'Living in the Occupied Palestinian Territories March - August 2009; Fakhira Halloun is coming from Haifa especially to talk about Palestinian Christians in Israel.
