Westminster Diocese: Energy to make a Difference!
In the lead up to the Copenhagen Climate Summit, Westminster’s Annual Justice and Peace Day will focus on issues of Climate Change, Credit Crunch, Christ and Community.
Mark Dowd of Operation Noah will speak on ‘The Economy and Climate Change’, and Tricia Zipfel, MBE, consultant on neighbourhood renewal, will speak on Effective Community Organising.
Speakers will be followed by workshops to discuss how we can challenge structural injustice to tackle some of the most serious and interlinked issues that face us, such as debt and climate.
The event is being held on 24th October at St John Vianney's Parish Hall, London N15. The day is free and open to all, but please bring lunch to share.
