Southwark: Archbishop of Canterbury to give Operation Noah lecture
There is a chance to hear the Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams, when he gives this year's Operation Noah lecture in Southwark Cathedral next Tuesday, 13 October at 7pm.
The leading primate in the Church of England will speak on 'The Climate Crisis: A Christian Response'. The event comes just seven weeks before the crunch UN climate summit in Copenhagen and will set the scriptural and theological agenda. Can Biblical wisdom speak to the folly of our ways and get us back on course?
Families and school or church groups are welcome to attend, but there are 800 seats only. If you wish to reserve a place, email campaigns@ operationnoah.org or ring 020 7324 476.
