Mass remembers victims of gay pub bomb

Victims of the Admiral Duncan gay pub bombing were remembered at a special Mass in Camden, North London on Sunday, 7 May, a year after the attack. Candles were lit and music included traditional and contemporary styles. A special Mass for gay and lesbian people, their families and friends has been celebrated once a month since the Sunday after the bombing. The rota of celebrants includes religious and diocesan priests with long experience in pastoral ministry to the gay community. The next Mass will be held on Sunday, 4 June at 5.00 pm. There will be no Mass in July but there will be an ecumenical service on 2 July at 3.00 pm at Hinde Street Methodist Church, London, W1. For more information call: 0208 986 0807 or 0207 226 0847.
