ICN editor to take up consultancy role at CCS

Jo Siedlecka, founding editor of Independent Catholic News, is taking up a consultancy post at the Catholic Communications Service next month. She will be working at Eccleston Square up to Christmas while a communications review is conducted by external advisors. Rob McLoughlin, incoming executive director of the CCS, said: "Jo's work is admired for its enterprise, innovation and creativity. It is also trusted and speedy. Her experience will be invaluable to the CCS." Jo said: "I feel honoured to be asked to play a part in developing the work of the CCS and am looking forward to working with my new colleagues, all the diocesan communications officers and everyone involved in Catholic news." Daily updates on ICN will continue as usual during her three month assignment.
