Catechists reflect on 'the truth about Catholics and the Bible'
More than 100 people filled the Bourne Room at London Colney for the annual Catechists Conference on Saturday. Fr Adrian Graffy, Director of Brentwood Diocese Religious Education Service and Biblical Scholar, led an inspiring day on Scripture. The talks were accessible and interesting; many questions were raised and many answers found. Requests have been made for follow-up sessions on each of the Gospels or on the Book of Wisdom and the Psalms with Fr Adrian leading the sessions. In response to the requests by catechists for the support team to keep up the good work, the Education Service plans to offer more study days beginning with a day on the document, On The Way To Life at Heythrop College on 14th October to be led by one of the authors, Fr James Hanvey. We are committed to ongoing study and reflections for all Catholics so check our website www.rcdow.org.uk/education for details of study days the Service is offering.
