Cardinal remembers bomb victims at Mass for Anthony Fatayi-Williams

God can bring good even out of the "terrible evil" of the 7 July attacks, the Archbishop of Westminster will say today in a homily at a Requiem Mass at 1pm at Westminster Cathedral for Anthony Fatayi-Williams. Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O'Connor will praise the strength and faith of his mother Marie. "She, more than anyone, expressed for countless millions the anguish and the pain of that time," he will say. "Her words express the cry of every mother, of every person who had suffered cruelty and loss in such a manner." At Anthony's funeral at Westminster Cathedral on 23 July last year the Cardinal praised Marie Fatayi-Williams as a "beacon of light to guide our response to Anthony". At 5.30pm this evening there will be a full Requiem Mass in the Cathedral for the victims of 7 July and their families, celebrated by Bishop George Stack.
