Wales: special family Mass in honour of St Colette
A special Mass in honour of Saint Colette, (whose feast is today) takes place this Saturday at 3.30pm at Ty Mam Duw Poor Clare Colettines, Upper Aston Hall Lane Hawarden, North Wales.
St Colette, a 15th Century contemplative nun who is one of the patrons of expectant mothers and those who seek to conceive a child. The annual Mass is a tradition kept up by Poor Clare Colettines in many parts of Europe.
The Sisters write: "One of the things about praying for babies is that their pleased parents tend to bring them along the following year to join in the singing! All are welcome to this family celebration."
Those who cannot come but would like to be remembered in prayer, please email: community@poorclarestmd.org or call: ++44 (0)1244 531029.
