Kidnapped peace campaigners shown in new film

A videotape of British hostage Norman Kember and Canadians James Loney, and Harmeet Singh Sooden, was broadcast on Arab satellite television station al-Jazeera yesterday, 101 days after their kidnapping in Baghdad. The Foreign Office said it was concerned that the fourth hostage, American Tom Fox, did not appear on the tape, dated 28 February. The members of peace group Christian Peacemaker Teams (CPT) were last seen in a video clip broadcast in January. Friends in London said that Mr Kember, 74, looked "relaxed and well, under the circumstances." "We hope that all four are well and will be released unharmed," a CPT spokeswoman said. "We are all praying for them." Vigils will take place in Trafalgar Square every Wednesday between 6pm and 7pm until the men are free.
