Kenya: defence lawyer rejects suicide theory in Fr Kaiser inquest


Father John Anthony Kaiser, who was found dead under mysterious circumstance in Kenya in 2000, did not kill himself a court in Nairobi was told yesterday.

Mr Mbuthi Gethinji, Lawyer for Fr Kaiser's family, the Kenyan Bishops Conference and Mill Hill Fathers dismissed any theory of suicide and said he believed the priest was killed by one or more persons Mr Mbuthi Gethinji wound up his submission yesterday, at the inquest overseen by Nairobi High Court Magistrate, Mrs. Maureen Odero.

He concluded: "I leave it to this Court to assist in establishing the killers of the late Catholic priest as he certainly did not kill himself."
