Medjugorie pilgrims injured in bus crash
Twenty seven American pilgrims on their way to Medjugorje, were injured in a bus crash on Monday night. One person is said to be in a very serious condition, while the others are stable, hospital officials said last night. The bus carrying 34 passengers collided with another vehicle in Tarcin, about 20 km south of Sarajevo, late on Monday. "One male passenger is in the intensive care unit with very serious injuries and this morning he is still in a life-threatening condition," said Dr Lidija Lincender of Sarajevo's Kosevo hospital. Of the twenty hospitalized, two were children: an 11-year-old girl and her four-year-old brother but "they were more traumatized by the accident than injured," Dr Lincender said. The group are from Wisconsin, the US Embassy in Sarajevo said.
