Booklet: 'Concern for Animals' & ticket giveaway

How should humans behave towards animals? Do animals have souls? Do they go to heaven? Do they have rights? Should Catholics really eat meat or wear fur? The CTS booklet: Concern for Animals from a Catholic perspective' by Deborah Jones, explores these questions through Scripture and the stories of many Saints whose lives are remembered partly for their concern for our fellow-creatures. It also studies teachings of the Popes and of the Catechism, which lead us to a renewed appreciation of God's creation and our privileged but accountable place within it.

'Concern for Animals from a Catholic perspective' is one of the Explanations Series available from CTS on-line: www.cts-online.org.uk/acatalog/info_EX32.html
