Liverpool J&P group marks Ash Wednesday with Act of Penitence

Members of Liverpool Justice and Peace Commission are inviting people to join them as they gather on the steps of the bombed-out church of St Luke in the city centre for an Act of Penitence on Ash Wednesday.

Starting at 1pm, countries who are supplied with arms from the UK will be named and prayers will be offered that reconciliation can take the place of war.
