Prayer vigil planned outside MoD

An ecumenical peace prayer vigil will take place outside the Ministry of Defense on Wednesday 9 March.

Sponsored by Pax Christi, Christian CND, and London Catholic Worker, the annual gathering will oppose the MoD's preparation for the deployment of weapons of mass destruction.

During the liturgy, participants will read statements of commitment to mercy, compassion, forgiveness and peace.

If you would like to support the Ash Wednesday Gathering in Resistance to and Repentance of Nuclear War Preparations, meet at 3pm in Embankment Gardens WC2. The liturgy will continue at the Ministry of Defense in Horseguards Avenue .
