Laurence Freeman talk on meditation: 'waking beyond thought'

Laurence Freeman OSB will be giving a talk on meditation in the Windsor Building Auditorium of Royal Holloway College, University of London, Egham Hill, Egham, Surrey, TW20 0EX on Thursday, 20 January 2011 at 6pm.

A Benedictine monk and priest, Fr Laurence is an international speaker, meditation teacher and spiritual guide. He is the author of many articles and books including The Selfless Self and Light Within. Active in inter-religious dialogue and international peace initiatives, he has worked with the Dalai Lama and leaders of many faiths. He encourages the teaching of meditation to children and students and the recovery of the contemplative wisdom tradition in society at large.

Attendance is free. All are welcome.
