London: JCFL Prayer Vigil
Bishop Alan Hopes will be attending the JCFL Prayer Vigil this Thursday. 2 December, at The Grosvenor Chapel, Mayfair.
The JCFL Prayer Vigil takes place on the first Thursday of every month and weaves together a beautiful liturgy with readings from God's Word, music, a reflection, prayer and silence. This liturgy of the Word is contemplative and gentle offering a welcome space for Christians of all traditions to discover the inner stillness and peace that only God can give. After the Prayer Vigil we share a meal together providing time for food and friendship. All are welcome!
Pope Benedict XVI, in his recent Apostolic Exhortation, Verbum Domini, said: "I express my heartfelt hope for the flowering of a new season of greater love for Sacred Scripture on the part of every member of the People of God, so that their prayerful and faith-filled reading of the Bible will, with time, deepen their personal relationship with Jesus". Jesus Christ the Fullness of Life (JCFL) provides a welcome space to reflect and pray with the Bible so that all may deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ.
Venue address: The Grosvenor Chapel, South Audley Street, London W1K 2PA. Song Practice at 6.30pm. Service 7.30pm. All are welcome!
