BBC to broadcast Ash Wednesday Mass from Liverpool

BBC Radio 3 will be broadcasting a celebration of Mass for Ash Wednesday live from the Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King, Liverpool, at 4pm. The Celebrant will be The Most Reverend Patrick Kelly, Archbishop of Liverpool.

Each Tuesday of Lent from 2 March to 30 March Archbishop Kelly will be leading a series of talks and reflections on the days and liturgies of Holy Week in the Gibberd Room of the Metropolitan Cathedral entitled 'From Triumph to Triumph', starting at 7.30 pm each evening.

On Friday evenings (19 and 26 February, and 5, 12, 19 and 26 March) during Lent he will also be leading a series of reflections at St Aloysius Parish, Roby again beginning at 7.30 pm each evening.
