Spectator debate: 'England should be a Catholic country again'
The Spectator magazine is hosting a debate on Catholicism in England in 2 March.
Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O’Connor, author Piers Paul Read and Dom Antony Sutch, parish priest of St Benets Catholic Church will be speaking for the motion: 'England should be a Catholic Country again'.
Speaking against the motion will be Lord Harries of Pentregarth, Stephen Pound, MP and Matthew Parris.
The debate will be chaired by Andrew Neil and will take place at the Royal Geographical Society, 1 Kensington Gore, London SW7, between 6.45pm and 8.30pm.
