Funeral arrangements for Fr Edward Houghton

The funeral of Westminster priest, Fr Edward Houghton, who was fatally injured in a road accident in North Yorkshire on 21 August, takes place this week.

Fr Edward's remains will be received into the Church of Our Lady of Grace and St Edward, Chiswick, on Wednesday 2 September at 7pm followed by Mass at which Cardinal Cormac Murphy-C'Connor will be the main celebrant.

The Funeral Mass will be in Chiswick at 12noon on Thursday 3 September with Archbishop Vincent Nichols as the main celebrant. The burial will be in Preston the next day.
