New website for Irish Chaplaincy in Britain
The Irish Chaplaincy in Britain (ICB), this week unveiled its new interactive website at: www.irishchaplaincy.org.uk.
The ICB, established in 1957 by the Irish Catholic Bishops' Conference, is a registered charity that provides high quality services and support to excluded, vulnerable and isolated Irish emigrants in Britain. They hope to use the internet to reach an entirely new audience of interested individuals and groups, and to ensure that information about their services are available to Irish people in Britain and across the world.
The ICB currently has three very distinct and unique projects, which are: The Irish Travellers' project, run by Fr Joe Browne, The Older Persons Outreach Project, run by Paul Raymond; and The Irish Council for Prisoners Overseas (ICPO), run by Conor McGinn.
