Winners of The Priests DVD competition

Our competition to win one of three DVDs of The Priests singing in Armagh Cathedral, was very popular and readers came up with some interesting ideas for songs they would like to hear them singing. Some they already have recorded. The most popular ones were Panis Angelicus, Ave Maria, Pie Jesu, Danny Boy and the Benedictus. There were also requests for Gesu Bambino, O Sanctissima, the Exultet, Ubi Caritas, Scarborough Fair, the Skye Boat Song and Veni Sanctu Spiritus.

The winners, drawn out of a hat are: Sister Winnie Henderson, Walton-on-Thames, Surrey; Michèle Gauthier, Ottawa, Canada; Sr Rose C Amacanin, spc, Jerusalem, Israel.

The DVDs are being posted out today.
