Beleagured Archbishop sick


The Archbishop of Cardiff, the Rt Rev John Aloysius Ward, 71, was taken to St Joseph's private hospital in Newport on Tuesday after he suffered a deep vein thrombosis. A few months ago, he suffered a mild stroke. A hospital spokesman at hospital said the archbishop was resting comfortably. He said he was having treatment and undergoing further tests.
