Abuse investigations at London school
Investigations began into allegations of child abuse at the Oratory school in Fulham this week.
Child protection services and police were alerted when two pupils wrote to the charity Childline expressing fears that they might have caught the HIV virus from a school chaplain who died two years ago.
Fr David Martin died at the age of 44 from a suspected Aids-related illness. He is alleged to have met several pupils in his rooms at the London Oratory church which is affiliated to the school.
Scotland Yard confirmed that the allegations had been been received and are being followed up.
Two sons of Prime Minister Tony Blair, Euan, 16, and Nicholas, 14, attend the school. A police spokesman said they were not involved in the investigations.
Headmaster John McIntosh OBE was unavailable for comment.
