Jewish peace campaigners to demonstrate in London today

A Jewish group plan to stage a 'die-in' at 1pm today, outside the Israeli Embassy in Kensington Court, London to protest over the Israeli occupation of Palestinian lands. A spokesman said: "We are doing this on the United Nations International Day of Human Rights as a protest against the abuse of Palestinian human rights. Each of us will hold a picture of one Palestinian killed since 29 September, bearing the name, age and date of death. "More than 280 men, women and children have died in this short time. We are called Jews Against the Occupation, but we will also be joined by some Christian and non-Jewish supporters. "Our sister groups around the world will be also be demonstrating at this time."
