London: singers invited to premier hymn for Ursuline Sisters bi-centenary
Composer Bernadette Farrell has written a new hymn to celebrate the bi-centenary of founding of the Ursuline Sisters of Jesus. The music will be performed at a special celebration on Saturday 7 September 2002 at St Ignatius Church in Stamford Hill. Singers and musicians are invited to join Bernadette to prepare the music for the occasion. Rehearsals take place on: Monday 8th July 7.45-9pm at St Aloysius Church, Phoenix Road, Somerstown, NW1; Monday 2nd September 7.45-9pm at St Ignatius Church, Stamford Hill, N15. On the day of the celebration, musicians and singers are asked to attend at 11am. The Mass begins at 12 noon.
