Daughters of Charity appeal for tractor
For their Lenten project this year, the Daughters of Charity are collecting money to buy a tractor for a community in Kenya. The present tractor is over 20 years old and has had its day. It 'died' recently, while struggling to bring much-needed food supplies to a mountainous area, where a long drought caused the harvest to fail. With a new tractor, the people of this area will not need to go hungry this year. If there is any money over, the sisters say there are several other urgent needs to be met. Please send all donations to: Sr Josephine O'Mahoney, Provincial House, The Ridgeway, Mill Hill, London NW7 1EH. (Cheques payable to Sisters of Charity)
