New Carmelite priest ordained at Aylesford

Brother Kevin Melody, a Carmelite Friar, was ordained priest at The Friars, Aylesford by Bishop Howard Tripp today. The Relic Chapel was full to capacity for the ceremony. Kevin's family were joined by a large contingent from English Martyrs Parish, Walworth where Kevin has worked for the last year and a half and where he will continue to minister after his ordination. Carmelites from each of the communities of the Province were present for the ordination, as well as a number of Carmelites from Australia, Malta, Spain, USA and Holland who are attending an international gathering at The Friars. Kevin will celebrate his Mass of Thanksgiving at English Martyrs, Walworth this Sunday 27th April at 11.30am.
