Dowry of Walsingham pilgrimage
Hundreds of parishes around the country are preparing for the annual Dowry of Mary Pilgrimage to Walsingham which takes place this Sunday, 7 September. Led by the Rt Rev Michael Evans, Bishop of East Anglia, the programme begins with a Rosary Meditation from 11.30 -12 noon, Mass is at 1pm, followed by the procession to the Priory Grounds for Prayer and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. Parishes and organisations are invited to bring their banners to carry in the Procession. Mass Programmes will be available, the price of which includes admission to the Priory grounds.
