White Fathers welcome four new deacons

There was African music and dancing at the church of St Paul the Apostle in Wood Green, north London on Saturday, for the ordination of four new deacons. The Ordination Mass was celebrated by Bishop Alan Hopes. The new deacons, all White Father students, currently serving in London parishes are: Wilbert Gobbo, from Tanzania, Ghislain Mulumbu, from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Michel Sanou and Romaric Bationo, from Burkina Faso. The four deacons will be ordained to the priesthood next year.
