Westminster: talk about 'On the Way to Life' report

A talk by Fr James Hanvey. one of the authors of the On the Way to Life report, takes place on Saturday, 14 October'14 from 2-5pm at Heythrop College in the Brinkman Room, Kensington Square W8 5HQ On the Way to Life was commissioned by the Bishops' Conference Department for Education and Formation to evaluate the cultural landscape in which contemporary catechesis, religious education and formation takes place in England and Wales. Frs. James Hanvey, SJ and Tony Carroll, SJ of the Heythrop lnstitute of Religion, Ethics and Public Life wrote this interpretive essay. The audience is invited to reflect on a question which has emerged: How do we transmit faithfully the Person of Christ and his teaching in a culture marked by secularisation, fluidity and change?
