Ideas for St Valentine's Day

Tomorrow is St Valentine's Day. If you are single and looking to to make new friends or maybe meet someone special - here are some ideas for you to consider. If you meet people through dating websites, always follow the website's safety guidelines.

Catholicmatch.com is one of the most popular Catholic dating websites. It is international, but has many members based in the UK. Author Michael S. Rose says, "CatholicMatch.com is a testament to the age in which we live. It is wonderful that Catholics can meet online and possibly be called by God to marriage or even a religious vocation. This is a great example of using God's gift of technology to evangelize and build up Christ's Church."

Frisbie Dating organises events for London-based Christian and like-minded singles, including speed dating, dinner dating, team events and bespoke introductions.

CatholicMates.com Another Catholic dating website.

Catholic Singles is a voluntary organisation which helps single Catholics of all ages, over 18, in England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales, to meet other single Catholics, either one to one or through social events.

In London Catholic Singles meet every first Sunday of the month from 1-2.30pm after Mass at Westminster Cathedral. Coffee, tea and sandwiches are served. Catholic Singles are part of a national network of groups for unattached Catholics in cities and towns around the UK.

Christian Connections is an introduction service for Christians of all denominations.

Friends First is a Christian agency based in the Midlands with an excellent track record.

Set up by Fr Michael Keane in 1968, more than 14,000 couples have met through the agency.
