CAFOD memorial Masses
CAFOD is holding two memorial Masses this month in remembrance of past supporters. The services are taking place in Ipswich and Luton, to celebrate the lives of those who contributed so much to the work of CAFOD. If supporters would like someone special to be remembered at Mass, they can have their loved one's details entered into a special Book of Remembrance. Enquiries should be forwarded to John Malley, in the East Anglia office (details below), as he is compiling the book. Alternatively, you can forward details of people to Beth Brook at CAFOD head office, telephone 020 7095 5525 or email candlelight@cafod.org.uk A spokesman said: "Remembrance is important to us, both as individuals and as a community; yet most of us find it hard to talk about bereavement without worrying that we'll make people feel uncomfortable. The Masses will offer an opportunity for CAFOD supporters, parishioners, volunteers and members of the wider public to get together and celebrate the lives of those no longer with us." After the service, a reception will be held in the hall to give attendees a chance to have a cup of tea, share happy memories and find out more about CAFOD's work. Details of Masses: November 7, 7.30pm at St Mary's RC Church, Woodbridge Road, Ipswich.
