Missionary house bombed

A house of the Comboni Missionary Sisters, in the Democratic Republic of Congo, has been shelled twice this week. Yesterday (Thursday) morning three heavy artillery shells smashed into the house in Limuchopu, on the outskirts of Kisangani. On Wednesday the building suffered a mortar attack. There are four sisters living in the community - two Italians, one Spanish and one Mexican. All were unharmed. The refectory, novice house and garden were destroyed.
