New director at Franciscans International

Fr John Quigley, OFM, has been appointed Executive Director of Franciscans International. In his new position, Fr Quigley will be responsible for coordinating Franciscans International's worldwide efforts at advocacy, animation, and fundraising/development in New York and Geneva. Fr Quigley has been the director of the Geneva Office of Franciscans International since 1998. He is well known to members of the Franciscan family and the international community of the United Nations. Sr Florence Deacon, OSF, who has been the Director of the New York Office since 2001, will continue her work in research and advocacy as UN representative in New York.
