Comment Email Print
¬†In the wake of the news released yesterday of the meeting between the Holy Father and Swiss theologian Hans KŁng, and earlier reports of his audience last month with Bishop Bernard Fellay, successor of the excommunicated Marcel Lefebvre, the international movement We Are Church has released a statement asking the Pope to meet with reform groups within the Church. After welcoming the meetings with KŁng and Bishop Fellay, they write: ".. We Are Church hopes that the Pope will start the dialogue in the near future also with those numerous reform groups within the Church, who have been working for many years for the renewal of the Roman Catholic Church in the tradition of the Second Vatican Council and the theology based on it."
