London: Dates for your diary - St Joseph's Hospice Lenten Lectures
St Joseph's Hospice Hackney has just announced an exciting line up of speakers for this year's Lenten Lectures. The theme is 'Service of the Poor Today'. Speakers will include the Archbishop of Birmingham, Archbishop Bernard Longley, Westminster Bishop Paul McAleenan, General Secretary of Pax Christi Pat Gaffney, ecofeminist liberation theologian Prof Mary Grey, Stuart McDonald SNP member and Meg Hiller, Labour MP. All lectures will take place at St Joseph's Hospice in Mare St, Hackney, London E8 4SA, starting at 2pm and finishing at 2.45pm.
