Become a climate champion with CAFOD
CAFOD is looking for up to six volunteers, aged 18-40, to become climate champions.
As a CAFOD climate champion, you will take part a three-day international workshop on sustainable living with other Catholic young people from across Europe during summer 2017. There are two possible workshops - Portugal (9-13 May 2017) and Belgium (1-5 July).
On your return, you will be supported to raise awareness about climate change, sustainable living and CAFOD campaigns in your parish or other local community.
The agency is looking for people with an interest in sustainability and/or campaigning, who are enthusiastic to learn more, and preferably who have been involved with CAFOD before. The organisers would love to receive applications from as wide a range of people as possible and will be looking for volunteers with a mix of skills, experience and backgrounds to take part.
For more information and and application form see: http://cafod.org.uk/Campaign/How-to-campaign/Be-a-climate-champion and email to marana@cafod.org.uk by 5 March 2017.
CAFOD will let you know by 17 March 2017 if you have been successful in gaining a place.
