Pope visits Krakow convent

Pope Francis made a brief visit to the Convent of the Sisters of the Presentation in Krakow this morning. While he was there the Holy Father met with the sisters and some of the students from their school.

Before he left Pope Francis signed the guest book with a message for the Sisters: "With gratitude for your generous service, I give you my blessing and encourage you in your educational apostolate. Cultivate with love the seeds of goodness, beauty and truth that God sows in every new generation."

The Holy Father then left for Czestochowa (by car instead of helicopter- because of predicted stormy weather) - where he has just celebrated a huge open-air Mass in the presence of several hundred thousand people - report coming soon.
