Leeds: Booking now - SVP Spring Ball

Leeds businesses are coming together to tackle poverty in Leeds by supporting the vital work of charity St Vincent’s Support Centre. The annual ball, which will be held in Leeds Marriott Hotel on Saturday 14th March, will raise funds to support Leeds families in crisis while guests enjoy a glittering night of dancing and fun.

Leeds Trinity University has joined with St Vincent’s as the Primary sponsor of the Spring Ball. Professor Margaret House, Vice-Chancellor of Leeds Trinity University, commented: “Widening participation in higher education is a fundamental part of our ethos at Leeds Trinity University. We take our commitment to raising aspirations and inspiring children from non-traditional backgrounds very seriously; a commitment which has been further enforced this year with our launch of the Leeds Children’s University. As such, we’re extremely proud to sponsor this event and work with St Vincent’s in raising money to change the lives of less fortunate Leeds citizens.”

On the night music will be provided by the lively seven-piece band Kabuki who wow crowds every time with their eclectic mix of soul, funk, disco and pop. Entertainment and games include a Silent Auction, Grand Raffle and a chance to win a prize every time with the always popular balloon game! While raising funds for this amazing local cause, there is the opportunity to win big with fantastic prizes donated by local businesses, including West Yorkshire Playhouse, Bierkeller and Leeds Marriott Hotel showing their support for this vital local charity.

St Vincent’s educates and empowers local people, giving them the tools, skills and confidence to get out of debt, into employment or education and to build a brighter future for themselves and their families. Centre Manager, Charlotte Walton, said: “Our annual ball is a great way to celebrate the achievements of the charity and the difference we’ve made to so many people’s lives. At St Vincent’s we are very fortunate to have some loyal and generous supporters and the evening is an opportunity to thank them, and raise funds in glittering surroundings!”

A limited number of tickets are still available, if you’d like to join the event call Natalie on 0113 248 4126.
