Appeal from Our Lady of Good Council Network

It has been an incredible start to the year here at Good Counsel Network. We have already seen more girls in five months than we have seen in some previous years.

Running the intern programme, the ultrasound service, two 40 Days For Life vigils and two permanent daily vigils is all extremely fruitful but at the same time burdensome. In some previous years we would only see a small handful of turnarounds from the Abortion centres, but this year we know of over 60 in London alone.

This week is the feast of Corpus Christi and on Thursday alone we had four probably turnarounds from the two Abortion centres we are covering and today we had a phone call from the woman who got a leaflet on Saturday at another London centre. We have regular Mass and Adoration in our centre and we know from experience that the
prayers offered up before the Blessed Sacrament really do make a difference in saving lives of unborn babies.

The Holy Father has asked that churches worldwide have an hour of Eucharistic Adoration this week, if you can attend this in your parish please remember the women we see and our counsellors in your prayers. All of our lifesaving work costs money, at the moment we have a number of outstanding bills amounting to more than £2,000 for which we have insufficient funds. I would therefore ask you at this time to pray that we are able to raise this money as well as the money we need to continue our work.
