Operation Noah annual lecture
This year’s Operation Noah lecture ‘Overcoming fossil fuel addiction - the next moral revolution?’ will be given by Andy Atkins, Executive Director of Friends of the Earth. All welcome to join Operation Noah, The Churches’ Climate Change Campaign, for an inspiring and thought provoking evening and discussion on Wednesday, 21 November 2012 at 7pm, in the Small Lecture Theatre at Friends House, 173 Euston Road, London N1 2BJ.
Andy has considerable experience in advocacy work. He was the Policy and Campaign’s Director at Tearfund, where he worked to enable Tearfund partners to voice their concerns over climate change and its regional impacts to a global audience. Before that he worked for Progressio and CAFOD. An excellent and challenging speaker he was one of a small group who set up the ‘Make Poverty History’ campaign in 2005.
The lecture will be followed by small group discussion and an opportunity to present some questions for Andy. There will be refreshments available at the end.
