Events and Campaigns Intern (3 days per week)
Salary: £13,104 pro rata
Location: Birmingham, UK

The Students Christian Movement is seeking to appoint an Events and Campaigns Intern to assist with the planning, preparation and promotion of SCM’s 2013 Annual Conference ‘Seeds of Liberation’ as well as other events and activities.

The intern will also work alongside other staff to support SCM’s campaigns work.

With excellent communication and organisational skills you will be assisting with promoting and marketing SCM events and activities.  You will use social media and the internet to build up links with international students in the UK, and with SCMs around the world.  You will also be helping to support the campaigns group and assisting with the organisation and running of other events and activities.

You will be able to inspire and encourage others to get involved, and have experience of working with students or young people.

Start date: June/July.
