Soldiers guardng children during another incident in Hebron recently
Seven Palestian children from a school in Hebron on the West Bank have been hospitalised after clashes with the Israeli Army  and settlers today. Christian Peacemaker Teams report that at about 10am this morning two of their members were called to  Cortuba  School.

Observers informed them that the Israeli Army were not allowing teachers to pass through the gate at the side of the checkpoint as had been agreed, They were told they had to pass through a 'container'.  The teachers refused to enter through the container and remained outside the checkpoint.

The head teacher said the teachers had  refused to pass through the checkpoint container because no justification for the new order prohibiting teachers to enter through the gate had been given.

Some children came from the school to see why their teachers hadn't arrived for classes. CPT report that classhes at the checkpoint ensued with the soldiers and settlers, resulting in seven children being taken to the hospital.

No more details are available at the moment.
