The Journey of St Alban: Soldier to Saint  - is the theme of this year's Bright Lights festival, which takes place from this Friday,  16 - Monday 19 July in the beautiful grounds of SPEC at All Saints Pastoral Centre, Hertfordshire.

In its 15th year, Brightlights has consistently been drawing young adults, between the ages of 16 – 30, from the diocese and beyond, with its special relaxed festival atmosphere, inspiring speakers, international bands, challenging workshops and seminars, moving liturgies and sacred spaces.

This year’s theme of St Alban will be explored by Abbot Christopher, Sr Judith Russi, Fr Stan Fortuna, Dr Sheila Hollins and Fr Stephan Wang,  along with great workshop and seminar leaders.

Bands include firm festival favourites like Sounds of Salvation and Indecisive as well as hip-hop artist Beliva, and many more.  Liturgies will be lead by the brilliant CJM!  It really is cranking up to be the festival of the summer!

Bookings are rolling in and places are going fast!  Whether you’re coming for the day, staying with all weekend in the huge variety of accommodation we provide or simply coming for the pilgrimage on the Sunday afternoon, organisers say people should book right away.
