Taizé Brother Paulo on UK visit
Hundreds of people gathered in Hinde Street Methodist Church in London`s West End on Friday evening, to join Brother Paulo from the Taizé community for a special Lenten Prayer around the Cross in the Taizé style. The evening included a meditation by the Rt Revd Christopher Chessun, Bishop of Woolwich.
Brother Paulo, who has lived in Taizé for more then twenty years, is visiting Britain, for a series of ecumenical prayer meetings in England and Wales.
He is leading an evening of prayer this evening, at the Cardiff University Chaplaincy. Tomorrow, 16 March, he will lead a prayer meeting at Leeds Catholic Chaplaincy, 5 St Marks Avenue, Leeds. And on Wednesday, Brother Paulo will be giving a talk at 12.30 at More House in Heslington Lane, in York.
