Bishop to sail down Thames with hundreds of animals in ARK event
The Anglican Bishop of London, the Rt Rev Dr Richard Chartres will be joining several hundred school children dressed as animals for a fun and colourful ARK Campaign event this afternoon on an ARK on the Thames and afterwards in Victoria Tower Gardens in Westminster.
There will be a delegation of children delivering origami ARKs to Gordon Brown at no 10, live drumming, a bicycle powered PA system, animals – including famously stubborn South American alpacas, BBC London TV news, MPs and more...
Having lead the children down the Thames on our very own ARK, the Bishop will make a rousing speech on climate change and call on the Government to take a strong stand in Copenhagen in December.
Join the London ARK campaign event in Victoria Tower Gardens, Millbank, Westminster from 3:15pm to 4:15pm
Want your school children or church to get involved? All welcome!
